The structure of the tower is made of steel and is recorded in the Guinness record as the tallest steel tower in the world. The tower is built in a self-supporting steel structure similar to the Eiffel Tower but 8.6 meters taller than the Eiffel Tower and half as light as the Eiffel Tower. The body of the tower has 176 lights and the color of lights changes with the seasons. In the winter, the tower will be bright yellow to create a warm feeling and summer is white like ice sheets to make people feel hot.

Tokyo TV Tower is not only a television tower but also a famous tourist attraction. The tower is divided into 4 main floors:

The first floor is an aquarium with more than 50,000 species of fish, souvenir shops and a large restaurant that can accommodate up to 400 diners.
